It was great that some Aussie bloggers finally got some well-deserved column inches. I'm more mortified that The Age, not the SMH ended up doing it (cue Syd v. Melb rivalry now).

And no, I haven't been around that long. The first Aussie food blog which prompted me to start was Pinkcocoa's but hers started in Oct 2003. So you win Anthony. Should we expect a recipe for stewed prunes sometime soon?

Thanks, Niki!

Yes, I was surprised not to see AG's blog there too. I was sure that she'd been around for AGES. Well, mine is kinda recent - I've only been around since July.

Looking at Grab Your Fork, it seem I certainly wasn't the first Aussie fodblogger; hers predates mine by a good 5 months, and that's only the first one I've checked!
