The burger I know vs the burger I love

burger.jpgPhoto: Christina SimonsSo there I was busy working from home. I popped out quickly for a takeaway at this little place around the corner. The odd visit became a habit until the friendly voice said: “Do you know you are the only person who orders the mustard and the curry sauce.” Yes, I ordered the sauces to dip my Chicken McReclaimed flesh in and I’d become a regular. Perhaps three times a week.I was a very sad person but thanks to Jamie Oliver I’ve seem the error of my ways (By the way I’ve never even been in the same room as a those Turkey things). Then, perhaps a minute further around the corner Grill’d arrived.”No neon lights, no highschool swethearts…no goddam colonel and no clowns.”What they simply offered is high quality burgers – beef, chicken and lamb.Crispy Bacon & Cheese. Grilled 100% lean beef, crispy trim bacon, tasty cheese, salad, lish herbed mayo…$8.90Not to forget the thick chips with Grill’d herb mix.
