A lazy, late Sunday morning at the table in out kitchen.

Bowen Mango and strawberries that actually taste like strawberries now it’s spring. Bowen is the mango capital of Australia in Far North Queensland over 3,000km away. The strawbs are from Cockatoo in Victoria, a few hundred km away.

R0010125.jpg
Raspberry pastry and a small but perfectly formed croissant from one of the many local artisan bakers, Baker D Chirico, shops 3-4, 149 Fitzroy St, St Kilda, Vic (03 9534 3777). it’s about ten minutes away by dog.

R0010136.jpg
Bacon and scrambled eggs with chives on toast. Chives, the back garden. The rest from Passionfoods, a ten minute drive, from suppliers on the city borders.

Tskui (left) and Mungo with post breakfast stick, Albert Park (The one were the Melbourne Grand Prix comes from)

We lie in the clover enjoying the spring sun. Just to prove the Grand Prix does completely destroy the park.

You sure that it isn’t cockatoo near Emerald/Belgrave? Photos look great though - all from the new camera?

To be honest I’ve got no idea where cockatoo is so it probably is that one. Thanks - all from the new camera, the only downside of is that the LCD screen is hard to see in bright sunshine. I can get a view finder though to put on the auxilliary flash shoe.
