This is the best food idea this year – brunch at Mart 130 (107a Canterbury Rd, Middle Park, +61 3 9690 8831). I spent a week driving up and down Canterbury Road wondering where the hell this place was. The name is, backwards, Tram stop 130 – actually in Albert Park near the tennis courts and bowling green and not on the road. Simply jump on the 96 and eventually you’ll pass this hidden spot.
Oh, and one of the owner’s is Adam Elliot’s um, crumpet krumpet stud muffin.
With Ange and Jamie we chewed the food blogging fat, css, index pages, photography tips and how to avoid cleavage in the money food shot.
My Chorizo on toast with two poached eggs was almost perfect and great value at $7.50. The Genovese coffee is excellent although they should have a policy of not allowing anyone to drink more than two flat whites.
This is an excuse to walk a little further on my early morning dog walks.

When I told friend K this she brought hers to the fore http://tinyurl.com/j99ah. Meanwhile, red faced I wonder if there is a higly lucrative niche web site in this…
