Wow! The first entry arrives from Barbara before I even announce the event. Welcome to the launch of DMBLGIT#4 2006.
The exciting news is that we have two celebrity Aussie judges from London in celebrity food coupleThe Times cook Jill Dupleix and the Independent on Sunday’s restaurant critic Terry Durack (who in a previous life I once made a Legend of Advertising; every creative wants to escape and review food and write books).
The rules for DMBLGIT#4 are that the pictures should have featured on your blog in March. Just email me a pic and a link to the post.
The closing date for entries is 24 April but I’m going to be relaxed, as I’ll be organising the posts for judging from Ho Chi Minh City with the help of guest blogger Kylie. She also has a penchant for cats (as many food bloggers do) and although sharing the same name as the diminutive Aussie warbler has only ever interviewed Jason Donovan.
This is a pretty exciting with old media meeting new media and hopefully will boost the popularity of the event. You can check out the winners to the past two DMBLGITs at Love Sicily and Cooking Diva.
