I have become concerned that Anthony Bourdain may be sick. He seems to have lost some color and robustness, and in last night’s episode in Manchuria, I noticed he was wearing bulky sweaters a lot. I wonder if this is to hide a sudden weight loss.
I realize my imagination could be running wild, and I have not found anything online to support this and I do hope I’m wrong.
But c’mon, hasn’t anyone else noticed a frailer Bourdain?
At first I thought marriage had softened him and taken away his edge, but I don’t think it’s that. Something else seems to have sapped him. Maybe he’s just burnt out and tired of the whole gig.
If anyone has heard anything, please let me know. THanks.

I thought he is gay because he is always with a male whenever he goes out to eat or explore in his travels. That’s what prompted me to search to see I presumed correctly. I think he should be if he isn’t.

he is wearing the same shirt on the azores episode and we found this website from searching “is anthony bourdain gay?”. we live close to Ptown and know all about the residents there so we were curious

Hehe, I’m watching the shanghai episode and noticed the Ptown shirt too and decided to google it up. Turns out he got his first restaurant job in Ptown back in the 70’s, so it’s probably a reference to his roots and not his orientation.

you know i noticed something sort of strange and I think that AB might be gay… if you have seen his Shanghai episode (excellent I might add) he is sporting a Provincetown (Recreation Dept.) sport type T-Shirt… Provincetown MA is known for its majority homosexual population and the Recreation Dept. thing well I don’t know?

Anthony Bourdain is married and doubdtfully gay. I already made a hell of a lot of research on the subject since I go crazy in love every time I see him. And the smoking and drinking just makes him more interesting to me, even if I don;t smoke nor drink… One of these days I probably will end up stalking him, just to get a good look at him and pass out in the middle of the street happily.
