The Windsor end of Chapel Street is where everything is happening. The cool shops chased out of St Kilda are now here. Pubs are being refurbished and restaurants, bars, cafés and restaurants are sprouting on what was once a daggy strip.
Drink (with an address I can’t remember or find) is one of two innovative bottle shops bookmarking Windsor. Opening soon, it’s walls are curved and decorated by premium spirits.
24 hour booze!
Over at 29 Chapel Street is the Railway Hotel, which is coming to the end of a major revamp. It’s innovation is a massive 24 hour – yes this picture was taken 1.58.31 this morning – bottle shop. It has all the beers, a superb massive choice of wines, dips and snacks and all the premium vodkas you would want.
