I think it may be water rat season in Phonsvanh in Laos. There are also voles, flying squirrels and deer in the market. In five minutes though the whole lot is sold.
Only a single haunch and head of deer is left.
What really catch my eye are the beuatiful game birds. It’s a shame you just can’t get this stuff to eat in restaurants or at street BBQs.

Oh my. This reminds me very much of when I was in Beijing and we wandered onto a street where all sorts of interesting foods were being sold grilled, on sticks. Some of them stuck in my memory for a long time.
kalyn, I just find it fascinating. When I was young we ate a lot of game and quite miss it with all the bland farmed meat we all eat now. It does stick in the memory, especially the insects which I’m not so keen on.
you guys suck asshole stop eating them or my ill throw some stuff on u or they will fall over mandkind and EAT YOU!!!!! and yes im serious!!!
do you guys have human season?f…
Idil, Most Saturday nights in the city it’s open season on humans.
Humans = killing machines, yuk! That is all humans know, killing as much as they can. Where is compassion for other sentient beings? Go vegetarian or vegan, that is what is best for our planet. Well study after study shows that eating meat gives you cancer! Go eat more meat, there are too many humans on this planet anyhow!!!
