It’s official. I’m back in Australia although I do still have a backlog of Cambodian posts (thanks to slow internet connections, dodgy computers and bowels and blacklisted ISPs).
This Australia Day Weekend Tomato is hosting Weekend Herb Blogging, an event devised by the award-winning Kalyn’s Kitchen in October 2005 and one of the most popular weekly food events on the web.
The deadline for entries is mid-afternoon Sunday 28th January 2007 and they should be emailed to me at edcharles AT mac DOT com.
The round-up for last weekend’s event is up at Real Epicurean.
The Rules
1. Entries submitted for Weekend Herb Blogging need to be posts written specifically for this event and the post cannot be entered in other food blog events. (Exceptions to this rule would be an event like Does My Blog Look Good in This, where the photo used for WHB was submitted later.)
2. Entries can be recipes and/or informative posts featuring any herb, plant, vegetable, or flower. When possible, bloggers are encouraged to add details from other sources so others can learn about the featured plant or ingredient.
3. Entries should contain the words Weekend Herb Blogging with a link to the host for that week. (Use of the Weekend Herb Blogging logo and a Tecnorati tag for Weekend Herb Blogging is always nice, but completely optional.)
4. Entries can be written any time during the week, but should be submitted to the host for that week by midafternoon on Sunday (Utah time) to be included in the Recap for that week. Please put WHB in the subject line of your e-mail to identify it for the host. At the discretion of the host, posts submitted too late will be held over for the following week.

I’ll try my best to be here – you know I love WHB!
Thanks for posting the rules. There seem to be a lot of new participants and I’m guessing a lot of them don’t even know there *are* rules!
Scott, look forward to it.
Kalyn, glad you approve!
