Ok, so it may not be that much for the curried crayfish, but at $80ish for half a cray its DEFINITELY more than dear ol'Geoff's effort. My boyf and I ordered the wagyu for 2 instead, and saw the next table's order of the cray - puny is not the word! Ed, Geoff may well have gone international, but lets not forget Shannon’s the one who’s charging $10k per head! And never will now, either - far too scary! It was very tasty though, and it did sustain us until 4am, which meant we weren't even tempted to eat food at Topolino's, and instead could concentrate soley on the wine. I love it! I've even tried to make it myself out of Geoff's book, but my efforts will never compare - even WITH the recipe! Since tracking down this book I've been obsessed with it recently (I just posted my Jungle Curry attempt from the book) I wanted to go to the full moon dinner tonight, but missed out. Can't wait for the new cafe to open, however there's something special about being able to have breakfast or lunch at pearl, especially since that it doesn't cost the earth!
