Yes, Paul Levy the man who invented the F**die word in August 1982 writes about it on the Guardian’s food blog, Word of Mouth.

“I was derided in the anonymous article (edited, as it happens, by me) as the ghastly, his-stomach-is-bigger-than-his-eyes, original, appetite-unsuppressed, lip-smacking ‘king foodie’. I had to sign a legal undertaking not to sue the magazine or myself for libel.”

I note there are some 14 copies of The Official F**die Handbook available on Amazon from $1.10 (about AUS$2.50).

HI Ed - I didn’t see this until today. Interesting comments on the article. Had to laugh at EvilClangers comment on muso. A whole new debate there. Especially as I’m married to a muso.

Barbara, I think be both agree that you’ve gotta laugh on this one.
