When I saw that he was gone in the Purple Goddess' post, I though, heaven's forbid, that he had died. Now I realise that he has just stopped blogging. Blogging is only one aspect of all our lives. If the day comes that I don't enjoy it anymore, I'll just give it up completely too. I would probably keep a record of my blog just for my own sake. I’ve only recently started to read The Gobbler’s blog and was going to start going through the archives. Blogging is only one aspect of all our lives. If the day comes that I don’t enjoy it anymore, I’ll just give it up completely too. I would probably keep a record of my blog just for my own sake.

He is a man with great passion, initiative, insight and joie de vivre. I'm glad to call him my friend and wish him all the best in his other creative pursuits. I will miss the breath of Tassie air that his blog brought into my life when I felt jaded or uninspired, but understand that Blogging can at times become a millstone or even a distraction that takes you away from some of the magic in life.
