Kusito, I’ve just done a post on the excellent hotel I stayed in.

Lucy, sometimes the comments is quite slow so if you press twice…The door is in the original old fort. I’m surprised in the harsh light how well the pics came out. Thanks. I love that style of door.

Chappan Bhog is a great Indian place to visit in Dubai to try Indian Chaat (snack food). They have branches all over the place.

Dishes to look out for:
1. Bhel Puri
2. Pani Puri
3. Pav Bhaji
4. Vada Pav

None of these are too hot…. and very interesting plus delicious

I’ve a great friend who works in Dubai – some big smarty-pants job with Emirates – and she takes my partner out to one of the insanely loud Lebanese restaurants when he’s in town.

Indian…now THAT would be better. I always crave veg and spice when travelling. The Bombay mix looks really, really good.

Love that door, by the way. One of my favs in your photostream.
