The latest addition to the Crown Casino food theme park is Sho, a Chinese restaurant on the casino floor. It’s $8 million fitout includes giant abacus screens. Plus there is plenty of Disney-style Chinese entertainement.

There is the authentic tea ceremony (which I missed videoing) followed by Kung Fu tea in which a giant and very long teapot is spun around, a few drips flicking onto Neil.

The highlight was chef Pin Tan’s hand made noodles which took just over three minutes, the only ingredients being flour and water. Inexplicably we didn’t get to eat any of these noodles but a mix of dishes from the east from yum cha to a beef rendang. Strange.

It wasn’t the tea shower that concerned me, more the epee like tea pot he was whirling around, threatening to take one of my eyes, while you pushed me closer so you could get a better shot!
