Finally we have winners of Vietnamese BBQs. In true Vietnamese style I shall try and pile all ten on to my bicycle and deliver them across town, assuming it’s good weather and my legs don’t give out. Oh, hell some may have to go by car.
I still have a couple to give away but here the first winners (Simply post a recipe on your blog, twitter or comments):
Thermomix
As I mentioned I still have memories of Cha Ca La Vong and will create this at home, on my own Vietnamese BBQ and Thermomix delivered. The dish I realy want to try, which he posted on the first birthday of his own blog are the sugarcane prawns. Aside from that Charcoal Grilled Pork (or Chicken) Balls with Minted Peanut Sauce and La Lot – Grilled Beef wrapped in wild betel leaves.
Karen T
Karen gave two recipes ikan panggang (grilled fish malaysian style) and rosemary lamb kebabs
Son
BBQ prawns Asian style.
Joy C
Lemongrass Beef Rice Paper Wraps
Anneliese
Tandoori Mushrooms
Nooschi
Marianated beef skewers
Effie Bakkalis
Barbequed Bacon Wrapped Prawns
And also:
Penny
Charcoal grilled Fish Otak
All these recipes are available in comments in the original post here.

Sorry, if I’d known you were going to Matteo’s I could have asked you to take one along – will catch up. Thanks and hope the guys at TabletopBBQs get some more ideas for food to cook on their little bbqs.
Will try to post some more on their site.
Thanks for the BBQ – it’s really cute and perfect for summer!
